The Story of DeadSet: Built on Grit, Rebuilt with Purpose

DeadSet was born in 2013 from the vision of Carlos Maldonado, an ex-pro tennis player who knows firsthand the power of determination. As Carlos was making a name for himself in the world of tennis, the odds were stacked against him, but instead of breaking under the pressure, he pushed himself ten times harder.

DeadSet was founded on that very spirit: a relentless drive to overcome, inspire, and empower. From its early days, the brand made waves in the tennis community, proudly sponsoring exceptional athletes like Diogo Marques, Mohamed Safwat, Vasko Mladenov, Quinnton Vega and more. These partnerships embodied DeadSet’s mission—to help athletes push their limits and excel, no matter the obstacles.

But like so many others, the pandemic brought unforeseen challenges. The momentum slowed, and DeadSet had to take a step back. However, this pause wasn’t the end—it was a chance to refocus, rebuild, and reignite the fire that started it all.

Now, DeadSet is back and better than ever, driven by the same intentions but with a sharper vision. Our goal is to create high-quality apparel that inspires strength and confidence, and fuels the relentless drive of athletes with ambitious dreams to reach the top. At the same time, we aim to empower those facing barriers beyond their control, helping them overcome obstacles and rise to their full potential.

This is our fresh start—a new chapter for DeadSet. Built on grit, rebuilt with purpose. And we’re just getting started.
